I decided to take a really simple route for the book fair brief. My initial starting point was found circles. I had taken a lot of photographs of circles I had found on objects and in and outside but I didn't feel that the photos were enough or the right style for the book. Looking through the photographs I noticed I had gathered a lot of photographs of pins. I liked the simplicity of this and decided to take this further.

final book - Pages ^

first poster design ^

second poster design ^

third poster design ^

forth poster design ^
These four poster designs were seperated between the 20 editions (5 of each.) Therefore giving variation to the editions. I think I prefered the poster to the pages. I used bulky newsprint as stock. This cut down on cost and also worked a lot better with the simple image as the white stock seemed too harsh.
I also decided to see how the images looked in colour. On this one I kept the cork board background in to see how this would affect the image. I do like this but could Be a new edition of the book.
