It was really great that Arthur and I were on the same page when it came to what we are looking for in a brief and it seems we are actually changing our minds at the same time. This therefore lead us to realise after some thought that the fairtrade brief seemed perfect for us.
Not only do we want to produce work which is effective and grounded with an array of ideas but we want to create design for a cause. I am keen on paper crafting and hand rendered work yet after looking at the Fedrigoni website and their target audience it seemed obvious that this wouldn't be for me and Arthur luckily agreed.
The fairtrade brief seems specific (they know what they need), challenging (film), creates passion and excitement (for a cause) and is still open to creative genius and in fact invites it.
