Final logo design.

After creating my type face I have decided to use this for the final logo but keeping it as simple as possible.  Here I have agained worked through more ways of layout for the logo.

This will be the official logo. It is so simple but works with anything.  It doesn't have to be a specific colour so that when placed on any colour and can be turned white etc. Therefore it won't clash.

Mini tutorial with Jane.

After talking through my work and ideas with someone who hadn't heard anything about it before (Jane) I really established and clarified my aim and purpose with this project.
Instead of just sending a pack to an office with a range of visual answers to bringing the outside in why not turn it into a sensory experience. When outside it is not just what I see that I love but the feeling, the sounds, the smells. I want to send out a pack to offices which will brighten up their work place and help them to feel refreshed during a long days work.I am going to base this within a shell of the 4 seasons. At the beginning of each season the office will receive a range of products to decorate their office with; Wall prints, floor matts, window stickers, a CD, plug in fragrances, Representing the positive things about that season.
Winter

Spring

Summer
Autumn

I have therefore tried to incorporate the seasons within these designs for the logo.
Each pack will have a background relative to the season.
Again I do want to play around with this more but this gives an idea of image and the name itself. I am definitely sticking with 'OUTSIDE IN'. It seems to flow nicely and says all that is needed. 'OUTSIDE INSIDE' doesn't seem to sound quite right and was more tongue twisting than it needs to be. Simple is always better.

From the photos and hand drawn.

Thought I would use the photos from the walk to create the background for the type.
Also, I have used a lot of this font. It is called bebas neue. I like its boldness and makes it seem quite direct. Although, considering what I am wanting to promote this may not be the most appropriate font. I will make sure I experiment with more. Including hand drawn, could design my own specifically for the logo.

I have experimented (although very simply) with hand drawn type. Using images too. I do like the hand drawn aesthetic but I have not got these right as they seem to young and not good for the office environment. I will need to play around with something a bit more sophisticated and linear.

INSIDE OUT//OUTSIDE IN

I have decided to stick with the concept of encouraging people to get outside. I realise of course that for full time workers this is not the easiest thing when they live and work in a city and so thought of the idea of bring the outside in. I want to try to produce a range of products for inside the office which makes it feel as though you are outside. Being outside is refreshing and always seems to relax me and so I want to design something which will help do this even when the workers are inside. Considering the age we live in it is sometimes better and more worth while creating something which requires not as much effort from the audience as they are all so busy already. Especially those I am hoping to cater for.
I just started to play around with a logo idea. just something simple but liked the concept of twisting the saying 'inside out' round. BRING THE OUTSIDE IN.
